BUYING FORKLIFT MANUALS

Could someone advise me if buying forklift manuals through "EPCATALOGUES" is safe ? They seem to have a very large collection of forklift manuals from operator's to parts. Anyone who has some experience dealing with "EPCATALOGUES", kindly share with me.

BT are still going strong over here in Europe.

A lot of the Toyota indoor equipment is just rebadged BT designed & built machines.

A lot of the Cesab indoor stuff is also older rebadged BT machines painted in a horrible green & grey paint scheme.

Prime Mover & Raymond stuff stays mainly over there in the USA, there is the odd Raymond machine over here in the UK badged as a BT but there pretty rare.

BT....wow, that's an odd one to need. Most later BT machines were the same as Prime Mover and vice versa. Or maybe that was a USA thing only....not sure.

Thank you both Partsguy5 and DThomas for sharing views. I also doubt very much of their authenticity and won't take the risk of loosing money. I am in need of BT, Komatsu, Clark & Nissan manuals. However, I was able to find some other source from the internet sometime back and did purchase manuals. He does not have the manuals I am now looking for. I can send you his contact in case you are interested. mail me : dhammika(underscore)umpl(at)stmail (dot)lk

Not sure how it works on your side of the world but after browsing their selection of catalogs I would not. Almost all of the major OEM's that they are offering are considered proprietary at least here in the US. I know for a fact that if a Toyota dealer here gets caught selling for giving out the software they could loose their dealership. Also using any of the payments types leaves you open to loose money.

Dunno about the company you mention but FWIW I know a guy that has a motherlode collection of Linde forklift manuals he might sell, from about 1992 to 2006 vintage.

I only know this as I used to own them, bought at a forklift dealer that went out of business a few years ago...I think I gave $35 for 3 bookcases full of pristine Linde manuals and parts books at the auction, most in hardbound notebooks still shrink wrapped in plastic.

Then I later came to my senses and realized no matter how cheap they were I'd never actually need them and sold them to a friend who also probably doesn't really need them. Could probably sell one at a time on eBay but too much trouble.
