Brake leak repair

After putting in seal/orings to sto p fluid leak coming from weep hole on adapter cylinder screwed into control valve body, now my directional lever does not engage forward/reverse?

No I wouldn't think that would cause this problem.

Will do, Thanks! Could this be attributed to improper bleed off--do not currently have a "bleeder ball" as Ive heard them called?

If the valve you resealed is for inching, it is not returning. Check your master cylinder free travel. Make sure the valve is fully returning.
