Discussion:
brake fluid leaking from transmission valve breather

I can't find any info to tell me why break fluid would be leaking from the breather on the side of the transmission valve just below the inching spool valve. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It has the monitrol peddle control. I think it is a late 60s or early 70s machine no data plate left on the machine. Serial number stamped in the frame is F3A5304G.

Elisha,

You probably have a leaking seal or gasket. The inching valve is controlled by the brake system. Look for brake lines going to the inching valve. Make sure everything is tight and not rusted. Could have a failed line or fitting. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
