Can any one help me more details on boss electrical fork lift 1 ton , The error code is R-09.

is the directional switch in the joystick or on a seperate switch

Hello Allen, could you be a bit more specific and mention the model of your forklift.
If the R could be an A, than you have a problem with your directional switch. (A09)
