Blew slave module, code 66, checked cables, drive axle, wires from master, drive motor, all good, installed rebuilt slave module, falied in four months, code 66, checked everything again, replaced module under warranty, failed in three months. Moved master over to slave position installed new, not rebuilt, module as master, SLAVE module (originally the master that had never failed) failed in four months. No brake dragging, very light use. Any ideas?

I installed in line fuse holders on the field and armature cables.
How did you fuse the motor and module? Checked 250amp fuse it ohms out good. Battery volts on both ends too when powered on.
Check the 250 amp fuse to the line contactor. You will have to pull it out and check it with ohms.

Sorry my english its not good, we have still -66 & -68 when you seat down on the truck. I check controls (good) i check wires control to motors (good), i disconect all suppressors (still errors) i remove the master side motor and realize bench test(good motor). I change two tumes the control for a rebuilt and still the same error. I read on pin 21 on master control 11.5V and pin 10 on slave control same voltage, when you seat down this voltage drop down to 0V. All the input voltage are present on both controls. Any suggestions please let me know. Sorry but i am rookie on this, i want know more. Thanks so very much.
We have had no more problems, other than customer continues to run battery down and push skids.
Be sure to check code history for status of battery charge. Would suggest you fuse the motor life I did to see if it saves the controller and blows fuse instead, amp tests on motor to be sure in specks and could compare to right motor readings.

Any update on this issue? I have the same problem but with the master controller
We ended up having both motors rebuilt, then fused armature with 200 amp fuses and field with 35 amp automotive fuses. Customer has blown 200 amp fuses and 35 amp fuses number of times. We believe they are pushing loads, have not lost another module, just fuses.
That motor is hard to check under load so I do not know how your rebuilder bench tested it. The controller controls both amperage through the armature and voltages to the fields. It might ohm out ok but still is hard test real world.

Drive motor on right side. If you switch motors around you will probably blow master.
