Skytone,

Unless you have the correct program, you will not be able to program. If you move display from one truck to another, you can program with the correct files.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
The ground to display is okay. I use a multimeter to check voltage to the display. I got 12v. I also check continuity of the ground wire to body and battery negative terminal, it was okay too.

Thank you.

Thank you Shlomi_r.
But to avoid too much cost can I buy new Display from factory and program it. Or there is no option than to change the vsm and DSC.

Thank you.

Thank you very much Fishmech, after checking, there is power to the display and all the fuses are okay.
Meaning the display has failed as you said.

So if I move one display to another , do I need to program the display?

Thank you

Check all fuses in front of the battery, in the PDM. Remove top cover of the steer column, unplug display and check for battery voltage on the red wire. If all fuses are good and you have voltage, suspect display has failed. Does not happen often, once in a while. Do not move display from one truck to another as they are serial number specific. Thanks.
