Caterpillar T50C:
Backfiring when throttle applied

Have an old Cat T50C LP gas powered with a 1404 engine forklift. Idles great, backfires and run rough when throttle applied. No apparent gas leaks. Timing correct, rebuilt carburetor and mixer. Help!
