Discussion:
back fire when accelerate

The 4G63 engine has a electronic throttle body.
The engine runs good at idle but I have a back fire when accelerate and not smooth down to idle. It cannot run on high R.P.M..
I replaced spark plug wires , distributor's cap and rotor.
The vapor regulator was too old and dirty, so I also replaced it.
It still has back fire and not be able to run on high revolution and not smooth down to idle. I don't know if it need scanner tool which I don't have one.
How to diagnosis this problem?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Cam sensor wires broken or in strands. Too tight harness from factory. There is a TSB to fix this with new lug and longer harness

The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
