Discussion:
3e tm error

Ive been going back and forth between clark all week, transmission wont go into gear after removal and replacing the torque converter seal and oring on pump in troque converter. Had to split the transmission case take out gears which was simple. after putting it back to gether I Get 3e tm error, it was going into reverse even in foward and reverse. now it wont go into gear at all we have changed all speed sensors and output speedsensor/ eletronic gear selector sensor. checked voltage a communication. everything comes back like it is suppose to. I am struggling with this one. We have double checked all wiring to connections on solenoids they are were they are suppose to be, just incase you thought that was the reason it was going into reverse in foward.

The inching potentiometer can cause this. If it's bad, it will not let the transmission go into forward or reverse.
