Discussion:
01 183 error causing no function

Jungheinrich 2011 TFG 430s has error code appearing when started- 01 183. Machine will idle, can use hydraulics but no throttle or able to drive. Got to switch turn off and restart many times before code disappears and forklift works fine.

Had Jungheinrich mechanic out previously when had issue with brake pedal. Asked about this intermittent fault code but he could not help, which is not great if he doesn't know the code.

It seems to be getting more frequent. Can somethings be using the machine and it comes on suddenly and all controls stop so have to restart. Does it when cold or warm.

Changed camshaft timing sensor and thought it may be this after searching internet for similar fault codes but not improvement. Machine done 22k hours, would timing belt be stretched meaning timing out slightly causing fault or would engine not run if this was the case. Presume it's never had timing belt done.

Fact of the week
According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
