The Safety Show

Australia's biggest trade show and conference dealing with occupational health and safety.

Come and see everything from safety boots and automated safety systems to drug and alcohol test equipment!

The Safety Show is sponsored by WorkCover NSW. In just its second year, the trade show has doubled in size and will showcase safety solutions for more than 250 exibitors covering 12,000m2.

Last year 6000 visitors from a wide range of industries attended and this year, numbers are expected to grow strongly.

A conference hosted by the Safety Institute of Australia runs alongside the trade show and will feature a range of expert speakers discussing the hottest issues faced by OHS professionals.

According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
