Queensland Truck and Machinery Show

Australia, Brisbane, Queensland - Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th May 2003
The CVIAQ Queensland Truck and Machinery Show has been organised by the CVIAQ since its inception in 1968 (then known as "Brisbane Truck Show") and has grown into the largest display of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. It is recognised as the premier event in Australia for the transport industry showcasing the latest technology and products by manufacturers and suppliers.
Continuing the successful relationship formed in 1989, the members of the Australian Associated Equipment Distributors (AAED) will also be exhibiting. Consequently the show will again be promoted as "The Queensland Truck & Machinery Show."

Fact of the week
At the opening ceremony of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in 1932, marching bands were instructed to walk out of step as they crossed the bridge. This unusual directive was given as a precaution due to concerns about the bridge's structural integrity during its early use.
