Materials Handling Middle East Materials Handling Middle East 2015 opened 15% larger than the previous edition and welcomed 4,386 trade visitors from 62 countries. The exhibition is the only dedicated show in the region for professionals from every facet of the warehousing, supply chain and intralogistics sector. From forklifts & lifting equipment to automation, the show presents solutions for all your warehousing requirements.

The 2015 edition showcased over 250 brands, key industry players, large companies making their debut, product demonstration areas and a highly regarded conference making it a highly anticipated edition.

Materials Handling Middle East focusses on multiple dynamic sectors including Logistics & Supply chain, Retail, FMCG, Automotive, Oil & Gas and Pharmaceuticals, showcasing products and solutions that improve their productivity and efficiency.

Additionally, this edition witnessed the launch of Forklift Operator Of The Year, a competition for forklift operators which promotes safety and efficiency in the warehouse.

Brothers Adolf ("Adi") and Rudolf ("Rudi") Dassler split their shoe company after WWII due to a bitter feud, and established the rival companies of Adidas and Puma. Their personal animosity and business rivalry divided their German hometown Herzogenaurach. The town became known as "the town of bent necks" due to the intense loyalty to each brand.
