Black Sea Ports and Shipping is the biggest annual Container Ports, Shipping and Transport Logistics Exhibition and Conference trade event in the Black Sea region.

The 2nd Black Sea Ports and Shipping 2013 Exhibition and Conference will take place at the luxurious 5 star The Marmara Taksim Hotel, Istanbul.

The 2nd Black Sea Ports and Shipping 2013 will comprise both a world-class Exhibition and Conference consisting of 30 international business leaders responsible for global transport and logistics and will be attended by more than 300 senior executives from the world's leading ports, shippers, cargo owners, shipping lines, freight forwarders, logistics companies, terminal operators, railway operators and port-rail equipment services suppliers.

A concurrent two days Trade Exhibition comprising 60 international exhibition stands will provide a valuable opportunity for companies to market products and services to the participants at this prestigious annual event.

Fact of the week
In 1898, author Morgan Robertson wrote a novel called 'Futility', which described an "unsinkable" ship named the Titan that sank after hitting an iceberg. Fourteen years later, the Titanic sank in a strikingly similar fashion.
