The TIMES COMMEX 2012 builds on the phenomenal success of the previous editions of COMMEX held in Hyderabad in 2006, 2008 and 2010. Ahmedabad, as a location for the TIMES COMMEX 2012, has been selected after considerable research and analysis.

The TIMES COMMEX 2012 is being organised in association with the Times of India group (please see the attachement). The event will be promoted all over India to attract visitors from relevant industry segments.

Gujarat has a robust infrastructure and is pioneer in Public-Private partnership. The government believes that it is the infrastructure that will drive growth in the various sectors of the economy. Gujarat has abundant mineral reserves and supporting infrastructure facilities. Therefore, mining is a very important industry sector in Gujarat. The state has huge deposits of Kaolin, China Clay, Pentonite, Calcium Carbonate, Dolomite, Calcined Dolomite, etc.. The TIMES COMMEX 2012 will be the first major event addressing the construction and mining machinery market in Gujarat.
