ZoneSafe® Basics
ZoneSafe® proximity warning systems create an invisible safety zone around almost any type of vehicle or static equipment fitted with a system. It detects personal safety transponders worn by personnel and provides a visual and audible warning to the equipment operator.
The ZoneSafe® proximity warning systems safety zone is configurable in size and distance around the equipment it is fitted to. A typical detection zone is adjustable to form a perimeter
2 - 9 meters around the machine. Options to extend a zone up to 20m typically used on larger vehicles and static plant are available..
ZoneSafe® Personal Safety Transponders (ZoneSafe® PST)
All personnel and machine operators wear a ZoneSafe® Personal Safety Transponder as part of their workplace PPE. Personal Safety Transponders are light weight and unobtrusive and can be placed into armbands or integrated into Hi-Visibility work wear. All personal safety transponders are detected by vehicles or fixed equipment fitted with the ZoneSafe® system.
ZoneSafe® Proximity Warning System
ZoneSafe® logs every event that occurs during operation. Event data provides an essential tool for safety management enabling you to identify areas of concern and help develop safer working practices.
Event data collected on installed ZoneSafe® systems is easily downloaded, viewed and analyzed including status reports, alarm events and individual personal safety transponder detections.
All proximity warning detections or encroachments of the zone can be analyzed using ZoneSafe® Analytics. Data analytics enables you to identify areas of concern and help develop safer working practices.
