The deadline for voting for the Fork Lift Truck Association's (FLTA) 2010 Awards for Excellence has been extended after a website glitch was discovered.

The glitch has since been fixed and industry members can now vote for the awards online.

FLTA CEO David Ellison says the 20 finalists in the awards consist of companies that have "continued to innovate and strive for progress" despite difficult trading conditions.

"It is therefore all the more important that people vote, to recognise the efforts of these companies and to determine who is most deserving of these awards."

For instruction on casting your vote, go to www.fork-truck.org.uk/awards. The deadline for voting is now Friday, 29 January 2010. Winners will be announced in a ceremony at the Barceló Hinckley Island Hotel on 27 February 2010.
