VETTER offers additional wear zone
The OptimaForkHeel increases fork lifetime up to three times

The quality and benefits of a product are not always evident at first glance. However, special materials, production processes or dimensional changes can produce significant advantages.

In the production of QualityForks, VETTER relies on such quality features - especially on the benefits of the OptimaForkHeel.

Fork life tripled

ISO 5057 stipulates that forks need to be replaced at 10% wear. That's because a 10% reduction in thickness will result in a 20% loss in fork capacity. This means that the wear zone of forks without a reinforced heel can be only a few millimeters (depending on the cross-section).

For this reason, the VETTER OptimaForkHeel offers an additional wear zone, in order to increase lifetime significantly - by up to three times.

Increased lift truck efficiency

A further advantage of the VETTER OptimaForkHeel is strengthening the heel. This enhancement reduces deflection by up to 15% compared to forks without heel reinforcement (at rated capacity).

Reduced stress peaks

At the same time, stresses in the heel section are optimised and stress-peaks reduced. This helps further prolong the life of the forks.

The OptimaForkHeel is a standard feature on VETTER QualityForks and its benefits combine to boost efficiency and safety of forks over an extended lifetime.
