Turkish Technic makes extensive use of Haulotte equipment |
Turkish Technic, the maintenance arm of Turkish Airlines, has acquired two new Haulotte articulating booms.
The new HA41RTJ Pro units join 44 other pieces of Haulotte equipment in the maintenance fleet.
The platform fleet comprises 46 units of various Haulotte models, including scissor lifts and telescopic and articulated booms.
The Haulotte products are used in various maintenance applications in the hangars and have been supplied by Acarlar Makine.
Acarlar general manager Serkan Acar says: "Because of the importance of maintenance services which need extremely meticulous work, high-performance machines are essential to finish the work efficiently and on the exact required timing. That's why Acarlar Makine supplied the new HA41RTJ Pro in Istanbul's Ataturk (and) Sabiha Gokcen and Ankara's Esenboga Airports. They need these high- access machines in the maintenance of electricity, ventilation and ceilings which are 36 m high."
A number of platforms and other specialised equipment are used in the hangars where Turkish Technic carries out the maintenance of several aircraft per week.
"Turkish Technic (has) purchased a lot of Haulotte heavy-duty scissors for the aircraft maintenance and several Haulotte big booms for the maintenance of the high ceilings inside the hangars," Acar adds.
Turkish Technic is the maintenance, repair and overhaul centre of Turkish Airlines and also services third-party airlines. Turkish Technic is headquartered at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul.
