A Falcon Spider FS 520C at Q-fab

Falcon Lifts has delivered a Falcon Spider FS 520C to its representative in Qatar, Q-fab.

The Falcon will be working at Al Bayt Stadium, also known as Al Khor Stadium, which will host the FIFA World Cup in 2022.

The Falcon will be used for final finish in the construction phase and afterwards, it will be used for maintenance of the stadium.


Al Bayt Stadium is designed as a huge Bedouin tent, coloured red, white and black, and will have a capacity of 60,000 seats. The roof will be retractable and able to open in 20 minutes.

In January 2020, the stadium received sustainability certificates of green design, construction management and energy efficiency.

"The 52 m working height and the double jib with up-and-over function was essential to reach all necessary items in the matter of maintenance, and we are sure that the Falcon will succeed in doing the job in these amazing surroundings," says Falcon sales director Brian Falck Schmidt.
