By teaming the latest in electrical warehouse pallet moving systems and plastic pallet ingenuity direct delivery systems can be improved to be up to 5x more efficient than current workflows used in truck deliveries around Australia.

In a recent visit to the Big Joe factory we learned about the products that are being manufactured that have increased direct store delivery efficiencies. By teaming up with the latest in
palletised products big chain stores including the likes of Walmart,
Coca-Cola, Pepsi and other brands with high supply and demands needs,
have improved the way trucks deliver products to include more stops and less routes.

Plastic Pallet Design
Plastic Pallet Design

By introducing a new plastic pallet design the whole direct store delivery process has improved the entire workflow from picking right through to point of sale.

The benefits of the system include:
  • The opportunity for endless product combinations in the picking & packing process.

  • More ways to load pallets in more groupings in the back of the truck than the standard square pallet alternative.

  • Allows for more product to be loaded into truck increasing deliveries made, which not only reduces the transport & logistics industry's carbon footprint but improves its sustainability for the future.

  • The use of electric warehouse pallet equipment reduces operator strain and speedier delivery from truck to store.

  • Innovations in pallet moving equipment today allows delivery person's access into the stores cool rooms and storage areas with tighter turning efficiencies and narrow aisle capabilities.
The new plastic pallets designs are smaller, narrower and compact improving the distribution of goods without compromising quantities delivered. They are reusable and lightweight allowing delivery persons load them after use effortlessly. Design to carry around 500kg they are suitable for most small product items with high turnover rates.
Lencrow Materials Handling will officially be distributing Big Joe products in Australia after discussions last week with the manufacturer. This new partnership means that the future of direct store delivery will be hitting shores soon and proving an ideal solution for transport and logistics industry needs across the country. The EP Equipment range of electrical warehouse products will be an important inclusion in facilitating the additional service offered by Lencrow alongside the new range of Big Joe products expected to arrive later this year.
