A reach truck that can handle one of the most demanding operations in warehousing has been launched by Toyota Industrial Equipment (UK) Ltd.

The 7FBRE Cold Store Cabin reach truck offers productive, safe operations in cold store warehousing at temperatures as low as -35°C, Toyota said in a statement.

The new forklift is a significant enhancement to the existing 7FBRE range, which comprises five models with capacities from 1200 kilograms to 2500 kilograms and lift heights of up to 10.5 metres.

The forklift's heating system provides controlled temperatures from 5°C up to 30°C. Air vents direct the air flow, avoiding window fogging, and all switches, electrical components and motors are designed for continuous operations at
-35°C.
