Toyota Materials Handling UK (TMHUK) has appointed Bradford-based Spartan Forklifts as an official Toyota dealer.

Spartan, founded in 2009, has added the Toyota range to its fleet of new and refurbished materials handling equipment to service West Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

“Becoming part of the Toyota dealer family is very exciting for everyone at Spartan,” managing director Adam Hughes states. “Working with the world’s leading forklift truck manufacturer will allow us to upscale our operation significantly and extend our service support to customers that operate some of the UK’s largest MHE fleets.” 

TMHUK dealer manager Sam Gray adds: “Toyota has a dedicated, strategically positioned dealer network and we are extremely pleased that Spartan is now part of it. Adam and his team have developed an impressive business, and we look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship between our two companies.”

Toyota joins a product line-up at Spartan which includes Cesab, Flexi, Bulmor, JLG and Aislemaster.
