Cat® Lift Trucks has upgraded its range of pedestrian pallet trucks with three new models that take much of the 'legwork' out of short distance movements and vehicle loading/unloading.

The new NPP16/18/20N2 models are completely fresh trucks designed with a careful blend of power and performance to give end users the best possible productivity at the lowest possible whole-life cost.

Sturdy chassis construction and endurance-tested forks provide enhanced robustness and durability in even the toughest environments, reducing maintenance requirements and downtime. The trucks' sealed chassis and waterproof electrics help resist moisture, dirt and corrosion.

With lift capacities of 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 tonnes, the new models all incorporate AC drive technology, giving precise drive control with excellent traction and acceleration. All also feature an 'eco' mode that reduces travel speed to ensure the smoothest possible handling and lower energy consumption.

Linked suspension castors have been fitted to provide maximum load and truck stability on any surface. The new models also feature increased lift heights to preventing goods and load carriers from coming into potentially damaging contact with the ground or items on the floor, making them perfectly suited to work on loading ramps or uneven surfaces.
The integrated drive and lift system has fewer components than previous models, reducing the scope for breakdowns, while a fully enclosed compartment with steel cover protects the battery from impacts, avoiding the need for costly and unnecessary battery replacement.

The ergonomically designed tiller arm on the NPP16-20N2 range makes truck control very easy, helping to keep operators fresh and focused at all times. Optional large lift and lower levers can be fitted to permit one-handed control, even when gloves are worn.

Easy access to critical truck components allows for fast fault diagnosis and speedy maintenance, squeezing downtime to a minimum. The replacement of the U-shaped battery on previous models with a standard battery, meanwhile, allows interchangeability with other brands.

The new NPP 16-20N2 Power Pallet Trucks are just part of a wide array of top quality materials handling solutions offered by Cat Lift Trucks via an extensive worldwide network of dealers. The range comprises electric, LPG and diesel-powered counterbalanced trucks and a host of warehouse handling solutions including power pallet trucks, stackers, low and high level order pickers, standard and four-way reach trucks and tow trucks.
