The new 9L Plus, also known as the Z series in the U.S., is designed and manufactured in Taiwan and comes in 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 ton capacities. The new model retains proven reliability from the 9L while bringing many features from the high-end Z1000 series:- Improved visibility: wide-view mast with new type carriage hides hoses and rollers to the back. Revised, lower dashboard provides better visibility and increases vertical viewing angle by 18%.
- Improved aesthetics and heat dissipation: the 9L Plus borrows the counterweight design from the Z1000 series which offers better aerodynamic contours and improved heat dissipation. Revised design now hides the tilt cylinders for improving space and offering better protection.
- Improved handling: by adopting the new-type rear axle, the turning radius has been improved by almost 15% to 80 degrees to help maneuver in tighter spaces. The new steering wheel is 15% smaller and helps reduce fatigue and offers more space for adjustments.
- Increased operator space: new design increases leg room by 30%. Refined adjustable steering column is more compact and streamlined.
- Increase efficiency: LED lights are standard for increased efficiency and reducing maintenance. Revised engine cover with stronger material for increased durability and safety, and easier access to the internals by simply pull a button located on the side of the engine
