Rmax solid natural rubber press-on tyres |
Stellana US Inc, a part of the Hexpol AB wheels group, is marketing Sri Lanka-made Rmax solid natural rubber press-on tyres as a product line addition for use on internal combustion and electric forklifts.
Michael Scoon, Stellana US director of sales and marketing, says the rubber compound for the Rmax tyres is resistant to chunking and tearing, has a high load-carrying capability and is designed with an innovative turning assist profile (TAP) to promote ease of turning and less driver fatigue. Rmax tyres are available in smooth and traction versions. A white non-marking tyre is a standard option.
The Piliyandala, Sri Lanka factory of Hexpol subsidiary Elastomeric Engineering Co Ltd manufactures the Rmax tyres and other products. Hexpol is based in Malmö, Sweden.
Stellana US has about 55 employees and occupies about 150,000 sqft. (16,635 sqm) in Lake Geneva. Stellana's worldwide headquarters and manufacturing operations are in Laxå, Sweden with additional manufacturing facilities in China as well as the US and Sri Lanka.
