Seegrid (www.seegrid.com), a leading vision-guided robotics developer, introduces Route Progression and Modification, Route Transfer and Back-Up as featured enhancements in its 1.8 product release, for the GP8 PalletTruck. This latest release expands the robustness of Seegrid's vision-guided Robotic Industrial Trucks and provides customers with greater control and flexibility for streamlining operations and optimizing workflow processes within the supply chain.

"Seegrid listens to and is delivering on our customer's requests. We are committed to being the vanguard of vision-guided automated solutions for the supply chain. These new capabilities are part of our continual effort to provide our customers with more flexibility, control and consistency to help improve their standards and reduce costs," says Scott Friedman, CEO.

Among the multiple enhancements Seegrid has added in this release to increase operational efficiencies for customers are:
  • Route Progression and Modification - Provides maximum flexibility to the user by enabling Robotic Industrial Truck routes to be progressively built upon existing ones. Permits multiple start and end locations, increasing throughput and decreasing customer handling time.

  • Route Transfer - Reduces training time by allowing users to copy the route from one Robotic Industrial Truck to another or to an entire fleet. This streamlines processes and ensures consistency across the fleet through the ability to share the same intelligence across multiple vehicles without chance of error or variance.

  • Back Up Maneuver - Allows Seegrid's Robotic Industrial Trucks to navigate in tighter spaces and narrow aisles, enabling vehicles to perform three-point turns in route. This opens the possibilities for customers with a greater variety of warehouse configurations to best utilize and optimize with Seegrid trucks.
