Most people recognise Ryan Reynolds as an actor, but a Canadian website has uncovered a link to materials handling.

Vancouverisawesome.com found its city’s favourite son had humble beginnings linked to a forklift.

Searching Reynolds’ LinkedIn profile, the site found that his first job after graduating from Kitsilano Secondary School in 1994 was as a forklift driver at Safeway. The movie star later updated his listing to indicate that his forklift experience was actually a bit later - 1996 to 1997.

On a more serious note, Reynolds recently received the Governor General’s Award for his contributions to the arts and philanthropic endeavours across Canada.
