RAVAS Europe, producer of mobile weighing systems, introduces the RAVAS Check System (RCS): a weighing system for fork lift trucks, based on oil pressure measurement. With a few simple changes, any fork lift truck can be transferred into a mobile weighing system.
The RCS is developed for simple weighing procedures, where a high accuracy is not required: determining expedition weights in order to prevent overloading of lorries, checking incoming goods to see whether the shipment is complete, or weighing pallets to prevent overloading warehouse racks. For such weighing applications, the RCS is now available at a very competitive price, bringing weighing on fork lift trucks within everyone's reach.
The RAVAS Check System is easily mounted on fork lift trucks or stackers of any lifting capacity. By means of a simple T-coupling, a new branch is created on the hydraulic lifting system of the truck. On this T-coupling, the pressure sensor is mounted, which communicates its signal to a weighing indicator, mounted in the cabin of the truck. This indicator transfers the sensor signal into a weight (kg or lb), shown on the display. Thus any load lifted by the truck is immediately weighed. Time-consuming driving to and from fixed scales is no longer necessary.
The RCS is the basic product in the range of weighing systems for fork lift trucks that RAVAS offers: aside from this basic system are weighing forks for more accurate weighing (also legal for trade), with printer or data communication if so desired, and a weighing carriage plate for weighing in combination with rotators, clamps etc.
RAVAS also supplies weighing hand pallet trucks, weighing systems on electric pallet trucks, stacker trucks and order-picking vehicles.
RAVAS is European market leader in the field of mobile weighing.
