North America's premier showcase of materials handling, supply chain and logistics solutions opens in 46 days. The ProMat 2013 show floor will occupy a net area of about 300,000 sqft. (27,870 sqm) in Chicago's McCormick Place South.
Three centres will focus on manufacturing and assembly functions, fulfillment and delivery services and information technology during the 21-24 January event.
Concurrent educational sessions will focus on improving operational productivity and visibility in manufacturing, distribution and in the overall supply chain. Each seminar will occur in specially designed theatres constructed on the trade show floor. The educational seminars will spotlight materials handling and logistics innovations and applications, and industry issues such as supply chain visibility, ergonomics and worker safety.
Materials handling technology on display will include forklifts, automatic guided vehicle systems, scissor lifts, casters/wheels/tyres, batteries, hydraulic and electrical components and controls and ergonomic and safety equipment. More than 800 exhibitors will have representation.
ProMat's matchmaker services can link interested buyers and sellers through an international business centre. The Material Handling Industry of America of Charlotte, North Carolina manages the show.
