Yale unveils high-performance electric trucks
Surrey, United KingdomYale Europe Materials Handling has unveiled the first of a new generation of high-performance electric trucks designed for use in demanding applications.
"At Yale, we are committed to developing industry-leading materials handling equipment that provides excellent productivity (and) ergonomics and low cost of ownership for our customers. The ERP70-90VNL is the first in a new range of high-performing electric trucks for high-intensity applications," says Ivor Wilkinson, solutions manager at Yale.
The Yale ERP70-90VNL electric counterbalance truck is powered by a high-capacity integrated lithium-ion battery capable of recharge in just 80 minutes.
The new model also features Yale Continuous Stability Enhancement, enabling it to travel over uneven surfaces, supporting the smooth transition between indoor and outdoor operation. It also enjoys superior controllability, resulting in precise handling and a class-leading turn radius.
Operators of the ERP70-90VNL can enjoy excellent ergonomics including unobstructed floor space in the cabin, a highly adjustable steering column and an optimally positioned seat with integrated armrest.

Noblelift adds lithium model
Des Plaines, IL, United StatesNoblelift has launched its Lithium Iron Phosphate LFP/LiFePO4 electric Q60 and Q70 Series forklift, complete with IP4 Waterproof Rating for indoor-outdoor applications.
The range is suited to high-density, high-throughput warehouses.
Available in 6,000-7,000 lb. (2,500-3,000 kg) load capacities in double or triple stage mast of up to 21.25 ft. (6.5 m), the Noblelift Q series lithium iron forklifts deliver reduced energy consumption and faster cycle times to help warehouses move large inventories efficiently while having a safer, more stable thermal chemical compound of iron phosphate to avoid overheating and/or explosion. It is designed to perform for heavy-duty applications with equivalent performances of the traditional IC trucks in the market.
Noblelift stresses that the new models are simple and cost-effective to run, with no scheduled maintenance. The battery does not require watering, gassing or cooling down.
Delta-Q XV3300 |
Delta-Q launches three-in-one charger
Vancouver, BC, CanadaDelta-Q Technologies has introduced a new line of battery charging solutions with the launch of the XV3300. Its unique design combines a high-performance 3.3kW charger, a 500W DC/DC converter, and an EV charging station interface in a highly compact package. The XV3300 is the ideal solution for power-train electrification.
"The launch represents a significant product development milestone for Delta-Q," says Steve Blaine, co-CEO and executive VP of engineering and quality with Delta-Q. "The XV3300 answers our OEM customers' need for on-board charging power up to 20 kW delivered in a compact, fully sealed IP67 package. Our team also designed an included DC/DC converter for auxiliary DC loads, a VCIM (vehicle charge interface module) for simple connection to public EV charging, and the ability to stack the chargers for configurable power levels. We achieved all this in a 3.3 kW charger that is over twice as compact as our previous models."
The 3.3kW charger will be available in 58.8 V, 65 V, and 120 V models and is scalable, allowing OEMs to stack chargers for power levels up to 20kW. The XV3300 delivers a precise charge of battery packs of various chemistries and voltages to maximise battery life and optimise charge time.
Production of the XV3300 will begin in the first half of 2022.
