PowerBatt increases warranty
Bratislava, SlovakiaBattery conditioner PowerBatt has extended its warranty, guaranteeing 2,800 cycles for lead-acid batteries "under normal use, defined as single shift and cool down".
CEO Dusan Uhrik says his company is guaranteeing 2,800 cycles at 60% capacity over a five-year period, while the additive also reduces the potential for cracked or warped plates and short circuits.
He notes that this more than doubles the standard manufacturer specifications of 1,500 to 1,600 life cycles and closely approaches the 2,800 to 3,000 cycles guaranteed by lithium-ion batteries.
PowerBatt has been endorsed by NATO and a range of OEMs including Linde, Toyota, Jungheinrich and Crown.
