Six men have been arrested for stealing forklift parts and heavy machinery in the Tampin district in Malaysia this month.
District police chief superintendent Ab Wahab Azizul Hassan told the New Straits Times that the gang stole forklift parts, an air compressor and a truck valued more than RM100,000 (USD26,300) from a wood-processing factory on August 5. A hunt is on for four other gang members.
Police recovered the stolen items after the truck was abandoned when one of its tyres was punctured after the theft.
