On Wednesday, 31st August 2016, The Local Business Awards hosted the Auburn Council business awards dinner. Lencrow Materials Handling was nominated as a finalist in the Specialised Business category.Lencrow Materials Handling has proudly been delivering forklift services from their Silverwater location since 1976 and celebrated their 40th anniversary in July 2016.
Ross Grassick, founder and director, accepted the award on the evening for the team. Ross said the following words after being announced as the winner.

The win came in a historical year as this is the final year The Local Business Awards will be recognised for the
Auburn City Council area. The Auburn Council will be amalgamated in to a larger council entity including Holroyd City Council and part of Parramatta City Council as part of the existing Cumberland Council.
