Noblelift North America has completed the expansion of its Des Plaines, Illinois headquarters. 

Growth and expansion have been constant for Noblelift North America. In 2016, the operations were housed in a 6,500 sqft. (600 sqm) building that didn’t offer the opportunity to expand operations. “We were growing rapidly and we relocated our offices in 2017 to a 24,000 sqft. (2,300 sqm) facility on South Wolf Road in Des Plaines, Illinois,” says Loren Swakow, managing director, Noblelift USA. 

“In 2019, we added another 15,000 sqft. (1,400 sqm) and this year, we added another 15,000 sqft for a total of 54,000 sqft. (5,000 sqm).”

Two other expansions within North America were specifically for efficient distribution and dealer support. Noblelift opened a distribution centre in Agawam, Massachusetts in March 2019 and, in September 2021, it opened another facility in Ontario, California.

“In total, we have over 70,000 sqft. (6,500 sqm) now,” Swakow adds. “I’m positive we will continue to expand every few years. It has become part of our corporate culture. New expansions serve us well as we continue to bring new materials handling products to North America.”

The head office expansion was completed ahead of Noblelift’s North American dealer meeting, held in Rosemont, Illinois, and dealers were treated to a tour of the expanded facility.
