The British independent forklift manufacturer Nexen was proud and delighted recently to exhibit at the Movimat annual material handling exhibition in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

This was the ideal prestigious location for Nexen Group to showcase its product range for the first time in South America. In collaboration with its Brazilian dealer Grupo Rekiman (www.gruporekiman.com.br) Nexen exhibited its new innovative LPG and Diesel "X" range machines that are creating huge positive reaction worldwide. Notable features of the range include fully floating cabins, anti roll back system, oil cooled disc brakes, simple servicing and accessibility plus LCD Smart dashboards which alert the operator to critical situations such as oil pressure and over heating.

Nexen's South America Dealer Executive, Ms Ana Goncalves said "The many visitors were excited at seeing a new product with high quality manufacture being announced to the South American market. Nexen was over whelmed with the interest shown in its products and in fact several large orders had been secured at the show. Meaningful interest was received not only locally but also from several other South American regions".

The business impact was echoed by Nexen director Pam Oakes who attended Movimat and she adds "Being supported in the fastest growing economy in South America will serve as an excellent platform for not only the X Range but also our exciting new product launches later in the year including seven compact models in various options as well as 3 & 4 wheel environmentally friendly electric versions".
