Newt Gingrich

Former US congressman and speaker of the house Newt Gingrich is the keynote speaker at the Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) annual meeting and the CONDEX trade show in San Diego next year.

AED president Toby Mack said Gingrich was "without doubt one of the greatest thought leaders of our time for pro-business and pro-growth policies".

"Under his house leadership in the 1990s, many of the underpinnings of our current economic strength were put in place. His message will inspire AED members to continue to fight for growth-oriented policies in Washington and around the country," Mack said.

Gingrich will speak at the AED/GE Commercial Finance inaugural dinner on January 27. AED's annual meeting and CONDEX will be at the San Diego Convention Centre from January 26 to January 28, 2006.
