Extend the life span of your battery
Batteries are the heart of each electric lift truck. As this part of the machine is so important, TVH will soon publish a new catalogue containing all information about batteries, battery chargers and accessories related to batteries. Battery regeneration
At the CeMAT 2011 exhibition TVH will also place two innovative devices in the spotlight. The first device is the battery regenerator. This regenerator allows you to give a sulphated battery a second life: after the regeneration you can charge the battery up to approx 95% of its capacity again. The device can prolong the life of all sulphated lead-acid batteries by up to 5 years: starter batteries, semi-traction batteries, high-power stationary batteries.

The regenerator can easily be operated thanks to an 8 inch LCD-touchscreen and all the data stored in its memory can be downloaded to your laptop by means of a memory SD-card or via USB-connection.

Perfect discharge and analysis of the battery
The second device TVH will introduce at the exhibition is the BDX-battery discharger. The discharger can be programmed to discharge via a precisely controlled constant current. The included free software also allows you to call up test reports of the discharge process. These give a good idea of the condition of your battery: the discharged Ah is displayed as well as the current, terminal voltage and time span during which this occurred.
