RICO Manufacturing has created yet another truly innovative solution. This time our engineers were challenged to lift a whopping 40,000 pounds. Our client's needed a standing operator control compartment. Due to their facility's overhead restrictions we were tasked with maintaining an overall lowered height of less than 99". Our client needed to not only lift their load but to also push it like a battering ram. They frequently handled awkward load sizes and shapes which impaired their operator's vision. The lift truck had to overcome all of these issues and still perform effectively in a extremely hot and dusty environment.

How did RICO do it?...SIMPLE!

We designed a Heavy Duty Stand-up Rider Counterbalance Forklift. This stand up compartment kept the operator lower than a standard sit down style forklift. We kept the overall height of the lift truck below their doorway restrictions while still maintaining ANSI required operator clearance.

We created an operator compartment that had dual side controls. This design allowed the operator to move to either side of the compartment to optimize his/her visibility.
The mast was engineered and constructed to be shock resistant so it could ram the 40,000 pound load as well as lift it. The hydraulic hosing system was completely encased in a heat sheath for heat protection.

We encased the internal electrical components in easy access panels that included filters to keep the controls protected from harmful dust and contaminants.

RICO's Capabilities are practically limitless when it comes to solving the problems faced by today's material handling companies.

Words of support …

I know I can count on them. They give valuable suggestions on the campaign planning, and to publish content is as easy as abc, as they take care of the material layout and check links. This is a great support.
