The US Department of Commerce's Office of Machinery has released a list of the 10 most viable export countries for US materials handling equipment for 2003 and 2004.
The "Top Markets for Machinery" report highlights the most outstanding markets, ranked by potential gain in export sales over the next two years.
The Office of Machinery identified the top markets and ranked them according to market factors, gauging potential demand and expected economic growth in the target countries.
The report says the best export markets for US-made machines are, in order:
1. Mexico
2. France
3. United Kingdom
4. Israel
5. Taiwan
6. Italy
7. Canada
8. The Netherlands
9. Finland
10. Ecuador
