MIRETTI S.p.a., is a World Wide Leader in the field of Explosion Proof conversions of diesel and electric forklift trucks, earth moving machinery, fixed installations and exhaust fumes purification systems.
MIRETTI initially began its activity in 1973 supplying exhaust gas purification systems to be fitted to diesel forklift trucks. The first explosion proof conversions were designed and constructed in 1978 mainly for Italian Companies but quickly expanding abroad as our reputation became more well known and appreciated.
Since then we can calculate over 7500 conversions of the most important European Brands making them suitable for operation in Potentially Hazardous Areas where there is an
explosion risk. Some of our End Users are Pharmaceutical Companies, Petrol Chemical Industry, Paint Production Plants, Car Manufacturers, Off Shore Petrol Rigs and Army Ammunition Depots, to mention but a few.
With its branches MIRETTI is present on the American, Chinese, German, Dutch and French markets.
All of MIRETTI's technical projects are designed in full compliance with European ATEX Directive 94/9/CE that regulates the use of forklift trucks, machinery and diesel engines in potentially explosive and hazardous areas. Our technical department comprising of highly professional engineers works in close contact with the truck Manufacturer both before and during production to ensure that the standard ergonomics of the truck are not impaired in any way.
MIRETTI has been Approved as an Official Supplier of Explosion Proof Conversions in full compliance with ATEX Directive 94/9/EC by JUNGHEINRICH, OM, STILL, NACCO, MCFE and others on a Worldwide scale.
Regular training courses are held in our factory to ensure that service engineers are constantly kept updated with new Standard. Each participant is issued with a Certificate confirming his ability to carry out routine maintenance on Miretti Explosion Proof Equipment.
