The two F479 reach stackers with 45 ton capacities, and two F42 forklifts with triplex masts and 42 ton capacities, are part of SPC's campaign to renew its fleet with high-efficiency and environmentally friendly equipment that can cut running costs.
The machines are equipped with sensing variable displacement hydraulics, low-emission engines and CAN BUS data management.
CVS Ferrari says the deal boosts its position in Eastern Africa and in the Red Sea area. The order's value was not disclosed.
CVS Ferrari and its Ukraine dealer Yuzhtekhservis were also present at the 2009 Black Sea Container Summit in Odessa, Ukraine on 1-2 October.
According to CVS, port operators at the summit highlighted the decrease of container traffic in the Black Sea area and their struggles with local authorities to speed up custom formalities and controls.
