The UN purchase matching meeting was held on 12th June in
Ningbo, Zhejiang. According to the information from Ningbo Municipal Government, UN Purchasing officials screened the 210 Ningbo enterprise candidates, and finally select 43 enterprises as registered members of the United Nations Procurement Department. All these enterprises will win more opportunities when the United Nations purchases goods.
Ningbo Ruyi Joint Stock Co., Ltd is a key exporting enterprise in China that manufactures forklifts, electric stackers, pallet trucks, etc. Mr.Chu Jiang, vice president of Ruyi, negotiated with the UN officials and shared Ruyi's information with the officials.
During the matching meeting with UN officials, enterprises could meet one-on-one. Though the time was very limited, Mr. Chu Jiang says he appreciates the opportunity.
The new status allows Ruyi to log onto the UN Procurement website, to get information on the organisation's purchase requirements. Ruyi's product information will also be available there. This will definitely promote Ruyi's name recognition, he said.
