MSE-Forks appoints Reachable Solutions as new US distributor

MSE-Forks (Meijer Special Equipment) has appointed a new distributor in the United States.

Materials handling solutions company Reachable Solutions will distribute MSE-Forks' range of Kooi ReachForks and RollerForks.

Mike Yacks, managing director of Reachable Solutions, says the company was formed specifically to accommodate this new agreement. "After MSE-Forks developed the RollerForks (for palletless handling) and Dual Height Shift System Forks (for additional vertical lift), it decided it was time for full-time representation in the US."

Yacks explains that his experience with MSE-Forks' products created an ideal opportunity for both companies.

"I have been in the forklift business for 25 years and have spent the past 20 working directly for Atlet who utilised Kooi-ReachForks as a standard component on their double-deep reach truck."

The long-term agreement between Reachable Solutions and MSE-Forks involves heavy marketing and promotion to OEMs, dealers and potential end-users.

Yacks says although the US is battling the toughest economic times in many decades, there is increased interest in MSE attachments as companies search for new ways to cut costs.

"Kooi ReachForks and Dual Height Shift System Forks allow them to improve the flexibility of existing forklift fleets while the RollerForks provide a highly efficient and cost-effective means of going palletless in order to lower costs and increase cube utilization of freight shipments," he comments.

"Working with MSE-Forks is very exciting as they are a strong, fourth-generation business producing high quality and innovative products. They see the potential within the North American marketplace and are committed to the growth and support of their products."
