The International Cargo Handling Co-ordination Association (ICHCA) of Australia will host a lunch meeting at the Lakes Hotel Resort, West Lakes, Adelaide on 23 April.

Guest speaker is Captain Simon Woolrych, Air Warfare Destroyer Program Support Systems Director, ASC Shipbuilding Pty Ltd, who will speak on the development of the Maritime Precinct at Port Adelaide and the AWD Program.

The construction of the Navantia-designed AWDs will be one of the most significant shipbuilding projects undertaken in Australia and will provide enormous opportunities for the shipbuilding industry with important flow-on benefits for key subcontractors throughout the country.

The ICHCA Queensland Luncheon takes place on 30 April at the Queensland Rugby Club, Ballymore Stadium.

Guest speaker will be Lance Hockridge, CEO of Queensland Rail, who will discuss the benefits and requirements of rail transport.
