Hyster-Yale records Q1 revenue dip
Hyster-Yale records Q1 revenue dip

In this week’s Forkliftaction News we look at the financial reports of some of the materials handling industry’s largest players including Hyster-Yale, KION and Hangcha.

While modest revenue dips were recorded by two of these companies quarter-on-quarter, one returned a small increase in revenue according to its 2024 financial report.

It is clear there is an air of disquiet and instability to the world economy right now as we wait to see how the changing landscape of tariffs and counter-tariffs plays out.

It is also just as clear that there will always be a demand for materials handling equipment. What we don’t know yet, is how the changing macroeconomic environment will play out in the microeconomic world of individual businesses which want to keep doing business as efficiently and profitably as possible.

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
