Prominent private yacht club developer, Yacht Clubs of America (YCOA), and Hoist Liftruck have completed a multiple marina forklift order for several of YCOA's luxurious facilities.

Six Neptune Series marina forklifts, ranging in capacity from 24,000 lbs. to 52,000 lbs., have been ordered for Key West Harbor Yacht Club (Key West, Florida); Naples Harbor Yacht Club (Naples, Florida); Tampa Harbor Yacht Club (Tampa, Florida); and Fort George Harbor Yacht Club (Jacksonville, Florida). Additional Neptune Series forklifts for other YCOA facilities are currently being discussed.

"The quality of the product and service is superior," says Steeven Knight, CEO of YCOA. "My visit to the [Hoist] plant validated my decision. The quality of the forklift and particular product were strongly reinforced when making the decision."

The deal marks another major accomplishment for Hoist Liftruck and its Neptune Series marina forklift. "We've been fortunate to have made a huge impact in the marina industry in such a short period of time," says Marty Flaska, president of Hoist Liftruck. "To be able to work with people like Steeven [Knight] and his organization is an honor and has shown that the Neptune Series is the premier marina forklift on the market."

The Neptune Series has been praised for its low-profile design, excellent 360-degree visibility and modern technology. Standard features include precise inching control, intuitive electronic joystick controls, air-ride seat, Cummins QSB diesel engine, Dana 32,000 automatic transmission, easy-access flip-open hoods/steps and advanced corrosion protection. Supporters of the Neptune Series, which include well-known marina developers Ed and Patrick Ruff of Boat Clubs America (www.boatclubsamerica.com) and prominent UK marina developer MDL Drystack (www.mdldrystack.co.uk) also praise Hoist Liftruck's fast delivery and service support.

Located in Fort Myers, Florida, YCOA acquires and develops marina properties and converts them into private membership yacht clubs at which members can own slips and storage units for boats. YCOA's vision is to preserve marinas and storage for the boating community as well as boat dealers and manufacturers.
