Materials handling and warehousing exhibition Matex celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2008 as a stand-alone event in a new venue.

It will include forklift demonstrations, an inaugural two-day supply chain conference and the grand final of the forklift competition.

"Matex 2008 will be a three-day exhibition at the Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney Olympic Park, from April 15 to April 17," says organiser Michael Nissen.

Confirmed exhibitors include Century Yuasa Batteries, Hyster, Hubtex Australia, Karcher, Yale Asia Pacific, Schaefer Systems International, Red Australia, Metalsistem Australia and Manhattan Associates.
