The TVH Group is expanding to Maghreb countries and the Gulf region, opening offices in Casablanca, in Morocco, and Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

The Maghreb countries are TVH's second biggest market after South Africa on the African continent (Forkliftaction.com News #253).

There are two TVH employees in the new sales & marketing office in Sidi Maarouf, Casablanca, and one in Karama, Dubai. The offices support TVH representatives who have been active in the region.

"Potential customers can become thoroughly acquainted with TVH and TVH's e-commerce in the field of handling equipment, materials handling parts and other industrial means of transport and machinery," a TVH statement said.

TVH's e-commerce refers to TVH's web-based software, Quick Source, that enables customers to conduct and monitor transactions with TVH.

Nordine Zanki, who was with TVH Belgium's export sales department for two years, is now TVH Maghreb's area sales manager. He will oversee Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania, Sudan, Somalia and Djibouti from Casablanca.

Area sales manager for TVH Middle East is Sanjoy Roychoudhury, who will oversee United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, from Dubai. Roychoudhury, a former Linde area sales manager, has been with TVH for more than a year.
