Leading North American compact cushion tyre forklift manufacturer Hoist Liftruck Manufacturing Inc has introduced remote diagnostics technology to its entire forklift range.

The RemoteTech system is now standard on all Hoist forklifts, including the cushion-tyre Titan and FKS series, the pneumatic-tyre P series, the electric Lazer series and the marina Neptune series.

RemoteTech monitors potential problems in the engine, transmission, hydraulics, autoshifting and filters. It monitors shock, overloading and vehicle speed. It can be programmed to monitor maximum load capacity, speed limit and clogged filters.

RemoteTech automatically notifies pre-assigned recipients via email of specific occurrences and their details. Forklift dealers can reprogram standards to be monitored and fix problems from remote locations.

Hoist president Martin Flaska said the system "can detect problems and give warnings before further damage can be done".

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
